Head of Audio
Alastair Lindsay is a senior executive working in music for videogames. Currently Head of Audio at CORD Worldwide, his role includes creative music sourcing and consulting to game developers and publishers about music rights, clearance issues and related license/legal matters. He was formerly Head of Audio at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, for many years in charge of music productions for all internally developed and many externally developed PlayStation and VR titles, as well as being responsible for music licensing. His extensive credits include: The Getaway, Eye Toy, SingStar, Gran Turismo, WipEout, Little Big Planet, Wonderbook, VR Worlds, RIGS and Horizon Zero Dawn. With a track record well in excess of two decades in the game industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the panel concerning the application of licensed music to games, hybrid scores and potential opportunities for artist collaborations as well as an overall view from the top of original music and sound procurement for videogames worldwide.
