Mike Cave

Mix/Mastering Engineer

United Kingdom

A musician turned producer, Mike Cave began playing guitar, keyboards and drums from the age of 13. Studying Music Theory at the London College of Music, his real musical education started with his band, The Sunlites, in a major record deal with Mercury. This would allow him to work as an engineer in the legendary Liverpool studio, Parr Street Studios, alongside heavyweights such as Ken Nelson (Coldplay), Jeremy Wheatley (Sugababes, Mel C), and Brendan Lynch (Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene). Mike has built a solid reputation as a producer, with artists as diverse as, Elvis Costello, KRS-One, Lewis Capaldi, Digitalism, Fatboy Slim, Bob Dylan, Gil Scott-Heron, The Charlatans or Echo & The Bunnymen, earning him a string of top ten albums & singles and numerous multi-platinum, gold & silver sales awards.
