BIME PRO Start Up!, the space for innovation and entrepreneurship and springboard gathering for creative industry startups, returns next October 31st with the sixth edition of the BIME PRO Startup Competition.
Thanks to a high investors’ participation, BIME PRO Start Up! has become one of the key encounters of the country.

The best national and international startups will compete aiming to present the most disruptive project.
With this new call, which remains open from the 11th of June until the 12th of September, the international contest seeks to select and back the most innovative and promising project directly or indirectly related to music, and will send the winning startup on a Trade Mission to South Summit Mexico, Colombia, and Madrid.
SHOWCASE AT THE STARTUP VILLAGE
Out of all the proposals received, 16 will go on to people the Startup Village, an expo where preselected projects will be able to showcase their functionality and services with an aim to foment new business opportunities and strike up synergies with other entrepreneurs and investors in attendance. That way even the runners-up will benefit from the tools and networking the contest provides on an international level.
AND TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL
After the initial phase, 8 of the startups will go directly to the final, where they’ll have to present their projects in a 6-minute pitch to upwards of 80 investors and a jury panel consisting of some of the sector’s top professionals.
The call remains open from the 11th of June until the 12th of September.
The prize for the winning project is a Trade Mission to South Summit Mexico, Bogota, and Madrid, with the organization to cover the cost of travel and lodging for 1 person from the startup, as well as new networking opportunities including a schedule of meetings with several investors and agents from the VC sector.
So far 42 investment funds specializing in creative and digital industries have confirmed attendance of the 2019 Startup Competition (Viriditas Ventures, Sabadell BStartup, Wayra, and Orkestra among them), making this a unique opportunity for those projects seeking to boost their visibility and take the next step in their venture.
